Background
LuciteLux is a vintage brand that for the past 65 years
has inspired cutting edge fashion, product design, architecture and interiors. In the US LuciteLux
(Perspex as it is known in the UK) is the brand leader
in acrylic materials.
The brief
To raise the profile of LuciteLux within the creative
sector and reach a new generation of designers.
Solution
We created a high profile design competition, targeting established designers and graduate designers. Entrants were asked to create a modern take on the iconic 1950’s Lucite handbags and submit these online for judging
by a respected and influential judging panel.
A playful twist on a LuciteLux product swatch creates
the identity for the competition.
We created
The competition identity, website, posters for
universities and a social media strategy to create
a ‘conversation’ platform for the brand.
