From an invisible force in the kitchen to a homeware brand with real pulling power
Background
Bisbell are a manufacturer of magnetic products
for the world’s top knife and homeware brands.
The brief
Having invented the magnetic knife rack Bisbell wanted to reposition themselves as innovators and market leaders in magnetic homeware products. With little
or no brand awareness with buyers or consumers our task was to create a credible and compelling brand proposition and identity for the business. The aim was to get Bisbell products listed in all major department stores, cookshops and independent retailers.
Our solution
Using the negative and positive magnetic poles we created a memorable brand with serious pulling power.
We created
Proposition, brand and product architecture, naming, identity, packaging and trade show exhibition concepts.
This project is part of the Design Council’s Designing Demand initiative.
Following brand launch and a targeted marketing campaign Bisbell now have product listings in
all major department stores, cookshops and independent retailers nationwide.
